It was Thursday night and people are ready for the weekend with the best mood of the week, so do people in the conference. more than half of the peers will take the monrning flights back home early.
So we had this big party at Embacadero Marina Park, which is a tiny perninnsula in the back of Marriot. Since it is the private property of the Yachts Club (You might have seen the picture of the yachts from my posts yesterday), it is legal for people to have alchohol there.
There are a variety of food all over the park, among burgers, sushi, and tacos, the most popular food is self-made taco. San Diego is merely three miles away from the Mexican border, on the other side of which there is the Mexican city of Tijuana. Therefore we were surrounded by the hilarious latin music, Samba, chia chia. Across the water, we can see the USSR carrier 76 (I don’t know which one that is) in the Navy base, hundreds of yachts, with taco and salsa in hand, sea breeze touching the glass of premium wine from Southern California’s Tamecular Valley, what else could we do to please the guest attendees all over the US?
Several entertainment shows are out there, among which I was pretty impressed by the acrobat given by six African American kids. The best programme? that must be the hispanic Samba dancer. She was leading a crowd in dancing, rythmic hip, turnaround, moving back and forth, no wonder people were getting creazy about her. Quite a few Germanies were getting excited in dancing, though a litttle bit clumsy.
That reminded me of a joke, German version. When the presenter showed us how fast the software installation, he said “see? it only takes 45 min to install this new module, just like Britney Spears’ marriage… what makes it better is that, look, there is an UNDO button…”
Germanies are humrous, sometimes, if not always.
